Wienermobile Drives to Londonderry for Old Home Day

Hotdoggers "Cookout" Christian and "Ketchup" Kayla will be hosting the local appearance, celebrating 80 years of hotdoggers on the road.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Hot dog, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is coming to Londonderry on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, to take part in the 117th Old Home Day Celebration, according to a press statement. The 27-foot-long vehicle will drive in the parade before heading to Moose Hill School for the Touch-a-Truck where people will have a chance to get a picture with the Wienermobile and even peek inside.

“Cookout” Christian and “Ketchup” Kayla — two of 12 Hotdoggers that were lucky enough to cut the mustard among 1,200 applicants for the position — will be answering questions and handing out the iconic Wiener Whistles. Frankly, this is an especially exciting time to see the Wienermobile, as 2016 marks the 80th year that it has been traveling the Hot Dog Highways of America. Don’t miss out on the chance to see the coolest ride on the road.
