
The developer behind Woodmont Commons has posted "No Trespassing" signs on its property in advance of a scheduled tree-hugging rally on Sunday, according to The Eagle-Tribune.
Save Woodmont Apple Trees (SWAT) was planning a protest at 2 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Gilcreast and Pillsbury roads. Those attending planned to protest the cutting of hundreds of apple trees to make way for the controversial development. But the developer put up signs Tuesday warning against trespassers. SWAT members say they plan to hold some sort of rally on Sunday regardless.
