Woman Charged with Negligent Driving After I-93 Accident
NHSP: Karyn Wornick fell asleep at the wheel, crashed into guardrail in Londonderry.

A local woman was summoned to appear in Derry District Court after reportedly crashing a moving truck into guardrail on I-93 North early this morning, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Karyn Wornick, 58, of Concord, was given the summons on July 22, 2015.

According to a report, at around 3:45 a.m., state police were called to the northbound side of the highway, just north of Exit 5 in Londonderry for an accident report.
The trooper found a Budget box truck about 15 feet into the woods behind a guardrail on the right side of the road.

“Wornick stated that she was traveling in the right travel lane when she fell asleep at the wheel and veered off the roadway between the guardrail and the tree line,” according to St. Lencki of the NHSP. “Wornick was not injured during the accident and a large amount of guardrail needed to be removed in order to remove the vehicle from its location.”
Wornick was cited with negligent driving.
I-93 North was down to one lane for about five hours while the crash was cleared, according Lencki.
