A woman suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash on Route 28 on Monday afternoon. The crash was reported around 1:45 p.m. near the Manchester line. According to Londonderry Police Detective Chris Olson, the accident involved a dump truck and a Honda CRV. He said several witnesses who were behind the dump truck said it had been swerving for a short distance before crossing into the opposite lane, striking the other vehicle head on. He said a woman was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation, but Olson said initial investigation revealed that the driver of the dump truck was not properly licensed to be operating the vehicle.

The accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. on Monday.
