Woodmont Review Clock Extended

The Planning Board agreed Wednesday to extend the review clock for Woodmont Commons to Aug. 16.

The 65-day review clock was set to expire Wednesday, but Woodmont representatives requested the extension earlier that day.

Further discussion of Woodmont was also continued until the board's Aug. 14 meeting. By that time, the board is expected to have a full Woodmont master plan in its possession. That plan is expected to be the culmination of all of the applications and briefing materials provided to the town in recent months.

Woodmont representatives are also asking for another special meeting on Aug. 28.

The Woodmont Commons development calls for the construction of more than 1,400 homes, three hotels and 800,000 square feet of commercial space on more than 600 acres in Londonderry. The project has been broken into multiple stages, to be reviewed over several months by the Planning Board.
