• Families in Transition launches search for new CEO as Devlin steps down (inklink.news) — Manchester-based Families in Transition is beginning a national search for a new CEO as Maria Devlin prepares to step down after six years leading major expansions in local housing, shelter, and food services. Devlin will stay on during the transition, ensuring continuity for Manchester residents who rely on emergency shelter, permanent housing support, and the downtown food pantry.    

• Dozens urge aldermen to support Manchester schools during budget hearing (unionleader.com) — Manchester officials are weighing Mayor Jay Ruais’s 2027 budget, which keeps to the tax cap but underfunds school leaders’ request and could mean dozens of staff cuts and larger classes. Residents, educators, and lawmakers packed Memorial High’s auditorium urging aldermen to override the cap, stressing the impact on Manchester schools, libraries, and future state education aid.    

• Luna Moth Zine Fest makes Manchester debut (unionleader.com) — Manchester is hosting the Luna Moth Zine Fest for the first time this Saturday, bringing more than 70 zinemakers and hands-on workshops to town. Artists from New Hampshire and around New England will share comics, art zines, interactive pieces and a community-focused program designed to welcome everyone from kids to seasoned creators.
