Honor Flight New England to Launch Historic 70th Flight Honoring 60 Veterans on May 31, 2026

MANCHESTER, NH — Honor Flight New England will launch its landmark 70th honor flight on Sunday, May 31st, departing Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. This milestone trip will fly 60 Korean and Vietnam War veterans to Washington, D.C., fulfilling the organization's mission to transport America’s heroes to visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifices.

This momentous flight will officially push the organization past the 2,600-veteran mark. To date, Honor Flight New England has honorably served 2,575 veterans completely free of charge, a legacy that includes 42 POWs, 31 sets of brothers, 91 women veterans, and 9 husband-and-wife couples.
“Reaching our 70th flight is a powerful testament to our community's enduring gratitude," said an Honor Flight New England volunteer. "We are humbled and privileged to accompany these 60 veterans on this priceless journey to honor their contributions to our country."

Public Invitation: The public, friends, and family are warmly invited to gather at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport at 5:45am Sunday morning to give these heroes a grand, well-deserved send-off.
