Manchester Man Found Guilty Of Attempted Murder, Assault Charges For Stabbing 3 Cops
Akwasi Owusu was found guilty by a jury on three counts connected to a February 2020 incident. An insanity hearing will be held Tuesday.

MANCHESTER, NH — A man from Manchester, who stabbed three police officers more than three years ago, was found guilty on charges Friday.
Akwasi Owusu, 21, was found guilty of attempted murder and two felony counts of first-degree assault. He stabbed three police officers trying to arrest him during a domestic dispute on Feb. 4, 2020, on Ahern Street.
Owusu, who was 18 then, was ordered to comply but refused and became combative. The officers did not know that he had a knife. Owusu began swinging, stabbing the officers. Two officers sustained life-threatening injuries, while the third was slashed in the forehead.
