NH Men Face Felony Indecent Exposure, Lewdness Charges After Incident On Manchester Pond
Benjamin Dexter, James O'Neill were accused of being naked and engaging in lewd acts on Manchester's Dorrs Pond in Livingston Park Thursday.

MANCHESTER, NH — Two men were arrested on Thursday on felony indecent exposure and lewdness charges after an incident on Dorrs Pond in Livingston Park in Manchester.
Around 6:45 p.m., police were sent to the park for a report of two people in a rowboat who were “naked and engaged in lewd acts,” Lt. Matthew Barter of the Manchester Police Department said.
“There were numerous callers to the police, all of whom reported the activity was widely visible to children who were at the park,” he said. “Numerous witnesses were interviewed, and officers determined that both men had performed acts of gross lewdness in the presence of juveniles under circumstances that they should have known would cause alarm.”

Officers arrived and waited for the boat to come ashore. After they did, Benjamin Dexter, 25, and James O’Neill, 59, both of Manchester, were arrested on a single felony count of indecent exposure and lewdness each. Dexter, Barter said, also had an active warrant out of Gorham on a driving offense.
Both were released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court North in late August.
