Protesters Rush Stage During DeSantis Speech At NH GOP Event
The two women held up a 'Jews against DeSantis' sign before security swept them off-stage at the annual Amos Tuck Dinner in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH — Two protesters stormed the stage at the New Hampshire Republican Party’s Amos Tuck Dinner in Manchester on Friday, interrupting a speech by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and holding up a sign that said "Jews Against DeSantis" before they were swept away by security.
Video posted to Twitter shows two women attempting to unravel the sign while yelling, “Jews against DeSantis! Jews against DeSantis!”
As security removed the women from the stage, DeSantis took the incident in stride, saying, "You gotta have a little spice in the speech right?”

He continued, “Why would you want to pay for the ticket to get in just to do that? I don’t know, but different strokes for different folks."
The Florida governor was billed as a special guest at the annual event held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester. DeSantis' stop in Florida marks the latest in a series of out-of-state visits as he prepares to launch an expected presidential candidacy.

DeSantis is expected to announce his presidential candidacy after the Florida legislative session ends in May.
Currently, former President Donald Trump leads DeSantis by a wide margin, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll. Around 48 percent of self-described Republicans say they want Trump to be their party's presidential nominee, while only 19 percent back DeSantis, an 11 percent drop from last month.
