MANCHESTER, NH — Police in New Hampshire’s largest city are asking for the public’s help identifying a man connected to a sexual assault allegation.

Around 8 a.m. on April 28, police were sent to Spruce Street for a report of a sexual assault. A woman told officers she was shopping at the Seven Days Market on Union Street when a man she did not know followed her home, Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department, said.

“She told police he came up behind her and grabbed her in a sexual manner,” she said. “The man was described as light-skinned Hispanic or Black, heavyset, wearing a black ball cap, pants, sweater, and face mask. He was clean and well kept.”
