Students participating in Destination ImagiNation use creative problem solving, collaboration and communication skills to solve challenges in competition. “DI” is the world’s largest creative problem-solving organization for student teams from kindergarten through college. The students who prevail at the state final will join more than 100,000 students in more than 30 countries competing in judged challenges that incorporate core school subjects with a focus that is technical, scientific, arts-based, improvisational, structural or social-learning.

DI solutions must be achieved by only the students on the team competing. Adult mentors help guide the students as they prepare for competition but may not help them solve the given challenges.
