Absentee Ballots Ready for the New Hampshire Primary
Voters in Merrimack will cast ballots on Feb. 9, at Merrimack High School from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Voting
Voting for the Feb. 9 Presidential Primary will take place at Merrimack High School. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Absentee ballots
Absentee ballots for the Primary are now available at the town clerk’s office. Voters who are unable to vote in person due to a disability, religious observation, absence from town, or whose working hours will not allow them to appear in person during the time the polls are open may apply for an absentee ballot.

Voter registration
Persons who need to register to vote may register at the town clerk’s office during regular business hours as well as at the polls on Election Day. Due to the anticipated high volume of voter registration, voters are encouraged to register by Jan. 30, which is the deadline to have your name added to the checklist. Registering by Jan. 30, will save you time during the registration process and on Election Day.
For your convenience, the Supervisors of the Checklist will be holding voter registration sessions on the following dates and times:
- Monday, Jan. 11, 7 to 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, Jan. 19, 7 to 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, Jan. 26, 7 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 30, 11 a.m. to noon
