Alert Sounded for Gray Fox-Possibly Rabid
A ragged looking animal has attacked two dog walkers -spotted near the shopping centers
A gray fox bit two dog walkers, Merrimack police said on Thursday, but there have been no new sightings since last Friday, according to the Lieutenant Dean Killkelley.
According to the department's Facebook page and published reports, the fox, which appeared to be ill, had been spotted near the Shaw's Plaza by Exit 11 and the outlet stores.
NH Fish & Game and police had no updates over the weekend.

The animal bit a woman on Camp Sargent Road. Later, a man on Cedar Lane reported similar.
