Alleged Habitual Offender Arrested

Matthew Worster arrested by Merrimack Police on three charges.

A local man was arrested this week after being stopped on the Exit 11 off ramp on the Everett Turnpike.

Matthew Worster, 44, of Worster Avenue in Merrimack, was arrested on Aug. 31, 2015, and charged with habitual offender, operating after suspension, second offense, and use of electronic device.

Police stopped Worster at around 5 p.m. after an officer reportedly spotted a violation on the off ramp. After conducting a license and records check, the officer found out that the NH DMV suspended his privileges in August 2011.

Worster was arrested, transported to headquarters, and processed. He’s due in court on Sept. 22.
