Alleged Heroin Dealer Arrested

Merrimack Police: Kristen Beebe faces numerous charges.

A local woman accused of thefts from vehicles was faces drug charges after police searched her home earlier this month.

Kristen Beebe, 25, of Fox Meadow Lane in Merrimack was arrested on Aug. 17, and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a narcotic drug (heroin), possession of drugs with intent to distribute (heroin), and two count of resisting arrest.

According to a police report, during the week of Aug. 13, officers were investigating several thefts from vehicles in the community. While looking into the thefts, police learned that a woman, Kristen Beebe, had allegedly pawned off a number of the stolen items. After receiving this information and doing more investigating, a search warrant was filed and approved.

Police showed up to Beebe’s home and search the home looking for evidence. While doing so, “officers found Beebe to be in possession of a large quantity of heroin and several items related to the motor vehicle thefts,” according to Sgt. Joseph Goodridge of the Merrimack Police Department.

Police attempted to arrest Beebe but she reportedly resisted and had to be restrained.

She was arraigned on Aug. 18, and held on $25,000 cash bail.

Goodridge reported that there could more released in the future about the vehicle theft cases.

“Due to a number of recent area thefts, specifically from motor vehicles, this matter is still under investigation by members of the patrol and detective divisions,” he said. “As such, further charges may be forthcoming.”
