Amherst Woman Arrested on Driving Charges
Merrimack Police charge Lauryn Mont after a motor vehicle infraction on Continental Boulevard.

A local woman was arrested earlier this week after an early morning traffic stop in Merrimack, according to police.
Lauryn Mont, 23, of Skyline Drive in Amherst, was arrested on Oct. 10, 2015, and charged with operating after suspension, second offense, and proof of financial responsibility.

At around 2 a.m. on the day in question, officers pulled over a vehicle on Continental Boulevard for a motor vehicle infraction, according to police. The driver, Mont, had a suspended driver’s license and was required to show proof of insurance, according to police. When she allegedly didn’t, she was arrested.
Mont was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in Merrimack District Court on Nov. 3.

Previously, according to online reports, she was arrested in Nashua in 2012 for nonappearance in court, when she was living in Hollis.
