Amherst Woman Arrested For OUI In Merrimack
Carolann Steeves was arrested on Monday on a warrant after a crash on Route 101A in late April when she was allegedly high on drugs.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman was arrested this week on a drugged driving charge after an alleged incident earlier this year. Carolann Steeves, 22, of Williamsburg Drive in Amherst, was arrested on Sept. 18, 2017, for operating under the influence of drugs. Steeves, who was incarcerated at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, was brought to Merrimack to be booked on the charge, according to Mpl. James Sullivan of the Merrimack Police Department.

“Upon their arrival the officers located a car that had gone off the roadway injuring the operator, Carolann Steeves,” Sullivan stated. “Steeves was transported to the hospital and after further investigation a warrant was completed for operating under the influence of drugs.”
Steeves was processed on the warrant and her bail was set at $ 2,500 personal recognizance. She was returned to Hillsborough House of Corrections and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 17.

Steeves, according to information online, is no stranger to police.
While living in Derry in September 2016, she was arrested in Nashua on stalking-domestic violence and violation of a protective order charges.
Back in June, according to a post on Patch, Steeves was arrested on for manufacturing/selling official inspection/registration sticker, unregistered vehicle, misuse/fail to display plates, and traffic control device charges after a motor vehicle stop in Bedford on Route 101 near Constitution Drive. She was arrested again in August after a stop on Route 101 in Bedford on a warrant.
