Area Gas Prices Continue To Tumble

New Hampshire drivers still paying slightly above the national average.

As the Christmas travel season approaches, drivers are on the receiving end of some good news relative to gas prices.

According to Gasbuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas (self-serve) in New Hampshire is hovering around $3.32.

The good news is that price is 7 cents lower than last week and 19 cents less than a month ago. The bad news is, New Hampshire drivers are still paying roughly 9 cents higher than the national average and we're still 11 cents higher than the price of gas in December 2011.
