ARREST LOG: Man Charged With Felony Level Fraud
The following arrest information was provided by the Merrimack Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following are several arrests made by at the beginning of the month.
Jan. 4
Jay Kempton, 47, of 101 Rocky Pond Road, Hollis, was arrested on Jan. 4 for check fraud, after an investigation police began on May 23 after the alleged fraud was reported by a local business. Police say it was determined Kempton had issued an insufficient check for more than $3,000 to the company and after several unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue, an arrest warrant was obtained.

On Jan. 4, Hollis Police were advised of the warrant and asked to check Kempton’s residence. The Hollis Police Department made contact with Kempton and arrested him without issue, police say. Kempton was transported to the Merrimack Police Department where he was processed and charged with felony-level fraud. He was released on $ 5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th District Circuit Court in Merrimack on Feb. 7.
Brian Digiacomo, 43, of 423 S. Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, was charged with operating after suspension and operating with a suspended registration. On Dec. 4, officers from the Merrimack Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Baboosic Lake Road at Greatstone Drive where Digiacomo was the operator of the involved vehicle. Police say they learned his license and registration were suspended and obtained an arrest warrant for Digiacomo.

On Jan. 4, members of the Merrimack Police Departments Community Oriented Policing Unit responded to 423 South Baboosic Lake Road to check the residence for Digiacomo where he was located and arrested without incident, police say. Digiacomo was transported to the Merrimack Police Department where he was processed and released on $ 1,500 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to appear in the 9th District Circuit Court in Merrimack on Feb. 7, to answer to the charges.
Christopher MacDonell, 52, of 202 Naticook Road, Merrimack, was charged with simple assault on Jan. 4. Merrimack Police say they responded to a local residence for the report of a domestic situation in progress. Upon arrival, police say they discovered an altercation had taken place between a male and female at the residence and further investigation revealed the female had been assaulted during the altercation. MacDonell was transported to the Merrimack Police Department where he was processed and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He was scheduled for arraignment at the 9th District Circuit Court in Merrimack on Jan. 10.
Jan. 5
Geraldine DeAngelis, 63, of 2 Echo Shore Drive, Merrimack, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, driving while intoxicated- drugs, resisting arrest, operating after suspension license/registration and operating as a habitual offender following an incident on Jan. 3 that began when officers responded to a report of a vehicle in a snowbank on Summit Road.
At 2:47 p.m., officers say they found a car in a snowbank that had been abandoned by the driver. After a brief investigation, police determined DeAngelis as the owner of the car and learned her license and registration had been suspended for being a habitual offender. DeAngelis was located her at her house and a struggle ensued while trying to detain her, police say. She was transported to the Merrimack Police Department and during the booking process she requested an ambulance for an unrelated issue. An arrest warrant for DeAngelis was later obtained and police say they arrested her at her home on Jan. 5, this time without incident. She was processed and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is due to appear in the 9th District Circuit Court in Merrimack on Feb. 7.
Mark Ives, 52, of 154 Bedford Road, Merrimack, was charged with conduct after an accident on Jan. 5. According to police, members of their department witnessed a black SUV strike and damage a Nissan pickup truck that was parked in the Mr. G’s parking lot at 388 Daniel Webster Highway. The black SUV then fled the area and was subsequently stopped by officers on Wire Road. The operator of the SUV was identified as Ives. After further investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for Ives for conduct after an accident. On Jan. 5, Ives turned himself in to police at the Merrimack Police Station, authorities say. He was processed and released on $500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th District Circuit in Merrimack on Feb. 7 to answer to the charge.
Jan. 7
On Jan. 7, a 16-year-old unidentified male was arrested when police responded to Juniper Way for a domestic disturbance. A brief investigation revealed the teenager had assaulted another member of the household and ripped their shirt during a struggle, police say. He will appear in juvenile court at a later date to answer to charges of simple assault and criminal mischief.
Walter Reddy, 59, of 16 Briar Oak Court, Willimantic, Conn., was charged with operating after suspension on Jan. 7. Around 1:10 a.m. police stopped a 1998 BMW for a motor vehicle violation, authorities say. Upon reviewing the operator’s motor vehicle history it showed his license was suspended on Oct. 15, 2007, for default court summons. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th District Circuit Court in Merrimack on Feb. 7, to answer to the charges.
Drew Brennan, 23, 3 Bruce St., Nashua, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, aggravated DWI, open container, unreasonable speed when police say they stopped his 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse on Jan. 7, for traveling at more than twice the posted speed limit of 30 mph on DW Hwy by Loop Road. Brennan showed signs of impairment and upon further investigation was subsequently arrested for DWI, police say. He was transported to the Merrimack Police Department and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to appear in the 9th District Circuit Court in Merrimack on Feb. 7 answer to the charges.
Jan. 8
Nathan Titus, 18, of Woodbury St., Merrimack, was charged with two counts of domestic-related simple assault. Police say they were called to a Woodbury Street residence Jan. 8 for a report of a subject with a head injury that may have been sustained in a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation at the scene police learned Titus had a self-inflicted head wound and had previously assaulted his girlfriend whom he grabbed by the legs and pulled off the bed, police say. They say Titus also struck the victim in the face. Titus was transported to an area medical facility for treatment and then to Merrimack Police Department for processing. He was held at Valley St. jail on $2,500 cash bail pending his Jan. 9 arraignment in Merrimack's district court.
