ARREST LOG: Teen Charged With Assault

The following information was provided by the Merrimack Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following arrests were made between Aug. 4 and Aug. 7 in Merrimack:

  • Amber Steeves, 19, of Bates Road, Merrimack, was charged with domestic simple assault and criminal mischief after police were called to a possible domestic altercation on Aug. 4. After speaking with the involved parties and other witnesses, police say it was determined that Steeves had assaulted another member of the household and damaged property within the home, police say. She was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court on Aug. 8.
  • Josh Beauregard, 24, of 141 Franklin St. No. 2, Allston, Mass., was charged with possession of a controlled drug on Aug. 5 after police located his car behind a business they were conducting a routine check on, police say. A brief investigation determined that Beauregard was in possession of a controlled drug and he was arrested, police say. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court on Aug. 30.
  • Angela Hodgkins, 33, of 5 Kessler Farm Drive, Nashua, was arrested Aug. 5 on a warrant for criminal threatening out of the Merrimack Police Department. The warrant was from an altercation alleged to have taken place on Aug. 1. Hodgkins was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court on Aug. 30.
  • James Lund, 50, of 33 Hillside Terrace, was arrested Saturday, Aug. 6, for operating under the influence of liquor after police responded to a car accident at the intersection of Wire Road and Daniel Webster Highway. Police say Lund's Ford Mustang struck a utility pole after he took the turn off of Wire Road too wide and went off the shoulder of the street. He was place on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and ordered to Merrimack's district court in September.
  • Christopher Perkins, 20 of 464 Boston Post Road, No. 46, Amherst, was arrested Sunday for conduct after an accident. Police say they had an outstanding warrant for his arrest following  an accident that caused property damage on Wilson Hill Road on Aug. 1. After the accident, Perkins left the scene without notifying the victim or authorities, police say. Perkins was also charged for traveling over a solid yellow line while driving, police say. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is schedule to appear in court on Sept. 6.
  • Amanda E. Bates, 20, of Davis Road was arrested at her home on Sunday, Aug. 7 when police arrived to conduct an investigation involving a domestic altercation with a family member. Bates was arrested for domestic simple assault after authorities determined an assault had occurred, police say. Bates was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and was ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court on Aug. 9.
