Do you know how to do karate?
This last question was addressed to our headmaster, who was wearing his eighth-degree black belt at the time. Now, it is possible to philosophize about whether anyone ever really "knows how to do karate." It is more of a process of lifelong learning. But our headmaster understands five-year-olds very well, and he knows how to answer a straightforward question with a straightforward answer. With only a momentary pause, he answered, "Yes . . . yes, I do know how."

Would you like your children to learn how to defend themselves, whether they are 5 or 15? Come in for a visit and see what we're all about! Classes in Merrimack are held every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6 pm, at the VFW near the Common Man.
