Bay State Woman Arrested On Theft Charge In Merrimack

Jenna Modugno of Medford, MA, was arrested after allegedly attempting to shoplift items at the Calvin Klein store at the outlet mall.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Massachusetts woman was arrested on Saturday in Merrimack on a shoplifting charge, according to police. Jenna Caroline Modugno, 23, of Buzzell Lane in Medford, MA, was arrested on a single count of theft-willful concealment on Nov. 11, 2017. Police, according to Sgt. Kenneth MacLeod of the Merrimack Police Department, were called to the Calvin Klein store at the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall for a report of a woman in custody.

The woman – Modugno – was “being detained by store personnel for theft,” he noted.

“The officer met with store personnel and learned that (Modugno) had concealed Calvin Klein merchandise in her bag and had attempted to leave the store without paying for the merchandise,” MacLeod alleged.

Modugno was arrested, processed, and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. She’s due in court on Dec. 19.
