Bean Road Bridge in Merrimack Now Closed
New bridge construction expected to start later this year and will be completed in November 2016.

The Bean Road Bridge, which runs across the Baboosic Brook in Merrimack, has been closed, according to town officials.
Recently, a structural inspection of the bridge was conducted and found that the bridge must be closed due to “continued structural deficiencies.”
At this time last year, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation found corrosion under the travel way of the metal plate arch of the bridge and issued a 10-ton limit for the bridge.
