Bedford Woman Arrested for OUI in Merrimack

Theresa Beaulieu is due in court next week after allegedly driving drunk on the Daniel Webster Highway on Tuesday.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman was arrested earlier this week on a drunk driving charge after allegedly driving erratically on the Daniel Webster Highway, according to Merrimack Police. Theresa Beaulieu, 55, of Iron Horse Drive in Bedford, was arrested on Jan. 31, 2017, for operating under the influence of alcohol.

At just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a complaint about “an erratic motor vehicle travelling north on Daniel Webster Highway by Merrimack Vision Care,” according to Lt. Ted Dillon of the Merrimack Police Department.

“Police were able to locate the vehicle and did observe the vehicle driving as reported,” Dillon alleged. “When the officer stopped the vehicle and spoke to the driver, who was identified as Theresa Beaulieu, she did show signs of alcohol impairment.”

After a brief investigation, she was arrest for drunk driving, according to the report.

Beaulieu was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Feb. 9.
