13 Ways to Make More Money Off Your Expertise Today!

Everyone of us is an expert (or has a desire to be an expert) in something. You could be (or at least claim to be) an 'expert' social media marketer like myself. You could be an expert writer, accountant, lawyer, fitness professional, consultant, designer, business coach, therapist or virtually any other industry you can think of. 

Most of us however apply that expertise towards helping someone else (another company) build their brand as experts in a particular field.  More often we do not apply it towards building our personal brands - which if applied correctly could result in real dollars just for you! 

So to get right to the point, what does this mean for you and how could you make more money with your expertise almost immediately (and with relatively little work)? The solution here is what we call 'info products' or Information Products.  

Over the years, info products have meant many different things depending on the level of technology that was available.  In years prior, with limited resources and higher costs, creating info products was expensive.  If you wanted to turn your expertise into a book, there were significant costs associated with not only writing the book, but getting it edited, published, printed, marketed and distributed.  Yet in today's incredibly fast changing technology landscape, that same book could now be self-published online almost instantly, distributed and marketed across social networks, and not require any printing/manufacturing costs. So let's assume you've identified an area in which you have a particular expertise (even better if its something you're passionate about) and now you want to turn that into something that you can sell....without ever leaving your couch.  Oh and by the way, it may also create a certain level of 'passive income' which basically is money you make while you sleep because these products can all be purchased, viewed and/or downloaded without you having to lift a finger.
