In Beijing our team was considered the under dogs and came back to not only win the gold over France but blow the record out of the water.
This time around they were once again the underdogs considered to have a small chance to medal. There are only 2 returning members form the 2008 team. Tonight Lochte was the team anchor with Phelps and Jones to set the pace and Adrien to start them off. Adrien came in first with his start and best time in history! Phelps came on full speed and increased the lead. Jones maintained the full body length lead. Lochte was neck and neck in the final lap with France but just missed the gold, taking home a much deserved silver medal.
