Moscow comes to Washington?
When I said I wanted a "Red Congress" this isn't what I had in mind.
Right now, can't you just picture Ben Franklin, George Washington and John Hancock upstairs looking down and all at once exclaiming "Super Congress? Why didn’t we think of that?" Probably not!
All the powers that be did with their recent debt ceiling deal, was kick the can and skyrocket the deficit while they were doing it. Although many of us are in horror of the government’s decision to raise the debt ceiling, unfortunately that is not the scariest part of the "deal." The scary part is the new political body that is being hatched to save us all.
What the U.S. government has set up is it's own Politburo. Yeah, I said it, and before you start writing me nasty letters I ask you to look up the term. The U.S. is taking a page from the Communist government in how it will operate. We will still have the same amount of Congressmen and Senators but now we will have a 12-member Centrist Committee who will make the policy. The Congressmen and Senators will sit back and vote the decisions up or down with no debate. Oh, and if they don’t vote the "right way" they better not count on the party leaders showing up for their next political rally.

Oh, and I know this "Super Congress" is just for one bill, but don’t forget, vermin infestation starts with just one or two of them. What happens next time there is a tough issue, how long do you think it will be before the "Super Congress" concept comes up again? It won’t take long. Silly me, I was worried about Socialism I never realized there were bigger worries around the corner.
I truly hope I'm getting all worked up about nothing, but with that being said, does anyone know where I can sign up to join the nearest militia?
