Obama Admin Shoots First and Aims Later...

In yet another episode, Sheriff, and town prevaricator, B. H. Obama mistakenly rebukes his rascally rival Romney for acts unbecoming a gentleman, only to find that it is his own deputies that are the quick draw charlatans.

B.H. Obama said last week that Romney, “seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later.”  He continued, “It’s important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts. And that you’ve thought through the ramifications before you make ‘em.”

Good advice, Sheriff.  Though you might want to share that with members of your posse. On a previous episode, your Press Secretary, Calamity Carney, was shooting wildly from the podium and not hitting a lick of truth.

Well the adventures continue...

Now your Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, found a side arm, and she ain't seen a bullseye in a coon's age.  Apparently, she has either not received your telegram bearing your sage advice or she's not all that keen on following it. Last week, after our Ambassador to Libya was murdered in a safe house (not in the embassy), Ms. Rice declared that the attacks were  "spontaneous", and  were due to "...a very hateful video".  She clearly declared this before she had the facts because, as it turns out, they may not be spontaneous at all (read on).

Though information began to come in from the President of Libya stating otherwise, rootin' tootin' Rice would hear nothing of the sort.  On Sunday, she went riding into town, whompin‘ and a whoopin’; she sidled up to the morning news shows blindfolded, and with six shooters drawn, she let 'em rip:

On "This Week":

“Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous – not a premeditated – response”

Ouch. Did she hit the truth? Miss.

“We believe that folks in Benghazi, a small number of people came to the embassy to – or to the consulate, rather, to replicate the sort of challenge that was posed in Cairo”

Doh!  Another miss, she should've made sure her statements were backed up by the facts!

On Fox News Sunday:

“What sparked the violence was a very hateful video on the Internet," Rice said on "Fox News Sunday." "It was a reaction to a video that had nothing to do with the United States.”

Dang, nothin’.

Lord, why on earth won't she aim that thing before shootin', like the President of Libya did that same morning when he invoked Al Qaeda:

"The idea that this criminal and cowardly act was a spontaneous protest that just spun out of control is completely unfounded and preposterous," Megarif told NPR. "We firmly believe that this was a pre-calculated, pre-planned attack that was carried out specifically to attack the U.S. Consulate."

Megarif, president of the Libyan National Congress, also said the violence, including the timing, bears the markings of an Al Qaeda attack."

Don’t worry, Sheriff.  At least one of your staff came out to admit Benghazi was a terrorist attack:

The Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was in fact "a terrorist attack" and the U.S. government has indications that members of al Qaeda were directly involved, a top Obama administration official said Wednesday morning.

"I would say yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy," Matt Olsen, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said Wednesday at a hearing of the Senate Homeland Security Committee...

Sheriff, you should at least make sure your own house is in order before even thinking about advising others on theirs. And then if you still think you should advise others, think again.
