Top 10 reasons to change the channel

As another election nears, I am reminded of how thankful I am that I live in the USA. Not only do I have freedom of speech but I also have freedom of choice. We do not have media controlled by the government and although at times,  it seems that some of our broadcast, internet  and newspaper media are  biased, nobody is forcing us to read or watch any particular media  outlet. We can  change the station, put down the newspaper or click the mouse. Today I am going to list the top 10 reasons I click the TV remote --

10- The View is on

9- Lindsay Lohan is getting arrested for wreckless driving

8- Alec Baldwin is doing a Capitol 1 commercial

7- Dr. Phil is mugging for the camera, while he throws stones from a glass house

6- Andy Gresh is impersonating a sports commentator 

5- David Ortiz is talking about how he is disrespected because he is only making a zillion  dollars per year

4-Lebron James is doing a contrived infomercial where he talks about charities but focuses on what a great person he is

3- Chris Matthews is on the screen

2- A reality show with a bunch of has beens and never wases is airing

1- Rex Ryan is guaranteeing a Super Bowl victory for the Jets

Thats just my list. I'm sure everyone has their own lists and Im willing to bet a few dollars that a certain Patch blogger who moonlights as a TV host is on a few of those lists. Thats the beauty of our country, people arent forced to accept what they dont want.

On November 6th we will have our chance to cast our vote for our vision of our country. God Bless The USA, the greatest country in the world.
