Why We Want to Be Your State Representative

The Gradys Ask for Your Vote on Tuesday

Merrimack has eight seats in the New Hampshire House of Representatives.  You may vote for eight candidates for State Representative on Tuesday, November 6th.  We both would like to serve you as your State Representatives and we asking for two of your votes.

During the past several weeks, we have gone door to door and have listened to the concerns of Merrimack residents.   We have heard the following:

·        Merrimack residents can not afford the state to shift expenses back to the local communities causing our property taxes to increase.

·        Folks are concerned with the costs of college education.  They are worried about continued lack of support of both the University and Community College Systems.  Many voters are unhappy that the current legislature cut the University System budget by 49% and that of the Community Colleges by 20%.

·        Continued gridlock in both Washington and Concord is just unacceptable.  The politics of confrontation must change.

·        Voters want elected officials to spend more time listening and less time talking.

We are asking for your two votes to elect us as your State Representatives.  Please vote for both Brenda and John Grady.  We will indeed spend more time listening and less time talking!

– Brenda and John Grady
