18 year old Aly Raisman was just voted to Captain of the Women's Olympic team! She is a Needham, Mass. native and the oldest member of the team. I am so excited to watch this group of young ladies go for the gold over the next two weeks. They are a true inspiration for our daughters. They have suffered some minor injuries to 16 yr old McKayla Maroney and Anna Li, the uneven bars specialist but I know they can pull through and bring home some medals.
All the fun starts on Sunday with the Women's Qualifications, which will televised on Channel 7 at 2 p.m.
