7:00 PM Evening Presentation: State House Video Tour
Program: Take a video tour of the New Hampshire State House in Concord. If you have never been to New Hampshire’s state capital building in New Hampshire, this tour will guide you through the building, showcasing the Hall of Flags, the House of Representative chamber, the Senate chamber and the Executive Council room. All are welcome.
BIO: Virginia Drew has led the State House Visitor Center for over 25 years. A New Hampshire native, she was born in the state’s first capital and developed a passion for NH history early in life. She serves as Chair of the Board of Selectmen in Epsom, is a founder of the Friends of the Epsom Library, and has served as Library Trustee, School Board member, and Municipal Budget Committee member. Virginia is also active in the Epsom Historical Association.
On the national level, she sits on the Executive Board for the National Legislative Services and Security Association. Her travels include visits to 42 U.S. capitols, four Canadian capitols, the British Parliament, and the seats of the French and Dutch parliaments. She has visited every library in the State of NH and visits libraries in every place she visits.
Virginia loves exploring and sharing New Hampshire’s rich and fascinating history.
