These classes are especially wonderful for for adults (50+) or others who may benefit from a slower pace class with a recognition of age-related functional changes; or anyone who may be looking for a gentler approach.
The class brings a mindfulness to our gentle practice of postures and stretching. Spending time with just the breath allows the body to unwind, detangle and relax without the stresses of the day.
Classes consist of easier postures with breathing techniques to help focus the mind, build strength, increase flexibility, improve posture and balance. Students are encouraged to find their own balance between effort and ease during the practice.
