Spring 2026 continues to come on strong. Come by and say hi and see what the Merrimack Historical Society has in store for 2026!
We are very excited about our plans for 2026. They include offering Merrimack’s fourteen classes of 4th grade students a living field trip to our District Schoolhouse #12 to participate in and witness education as it was experienced in the 1850s of which you are planning on being a part. Thornton's Ferry 4th graders have experienced this now! Reeds Ferry and Mastricola grades are coming soon. The field trips will be continuing the entire month of May. This is exciting for the Society, the School District, the Students and Teachers and the Merrimack Community.
We will also be participating in Merrimack’s 4th of July parade. And we will be hosting the Yankee Brass Band in July to continue the celebration of our country’s 250th anniversary.
