Celebrate the Repeal of Prohibition with Anheuser-Busch
Go back in time to salute a significant milestone in the history of American brewing – the anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition.
The Anheuser-Busch Merrimack Tour Center will go back in time to salute a significant milestone in the history of American brewing – the anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition. In celebration of the historic event, the tour center will include prohibition trivia throughout brewery tours April 7 through April 10.
As guests take the tours, they will learn about Prohibition and have the opportunity to take pictures in a Prohibition-themed photo booth complete with props. To cap off the weekend, the tour center will host a special Clydesdale Camera Day on Sunday, April 10 in honor of the Budweiser Clydesdales’ role in the repeal.
The Repeal of Prohibition restored confidence in America during the Great Depression and marks one of the most important anniversaries for Anheuser-Busch and the American beer industry altogether. Anheuser-Busch also introduced the Budweiser Clydesdales on this occasion when they delivered the first case of post-Prohibition Budweiser to the White House.
