Children's Quest Academy Open House Today

Children's Quest Academy is hosting an open house this Saturday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon. We hope to see many new faces. We are located all the way in the back of the building

Children's Quest Academy is a nurturing educational environment that helps children build connections between the classroom and the outside world. We educate children 2 years to 6 years of age in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our program and curriculum is designed to develop each child's potential through activities that promote independence, physical coordination, emotional growth, teamwork and exploration.

Quest Academy utilizes various instructional methods to provide students with a diverse learning environment that meets the individual needs of each students learning style and ability. We utilize multiple teaching methods adapted from the pedagogical styles of Montessori, Waldorf and Dr. Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences. Our methods encourage students to express themselves with consideration, kindness, integrity, responsibility and wisdom while also providing the knowledge and tools to put these values into action in meaningful ways. Students are challenged to stretch themselves, work outside of their comfort zones, and strive for personal achievement and growth.

We are a unique Preschool that offers not only a School setting but also full time care with flexibility. With our school day from 9 til 2 with options for Before and after care spanning from 7am til 5pm. You choose what works best for you and your families Budget. We found that working parents did not have many options for schooling for their children except the traditional day care centers. We strive to be different and offer parents the options that they may not have had before. With our teachers trained in Multiple theories of learning such as, Montessori,Rudolf Steiner's Waldorf approach, Reggio Emelia's Emergent Curriculum, Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences and Vanderbilt University's Pyramid of Social-Emotional Foundations of Early Learning we strive to accommodate the different learning styles of all children.
