He has been appointed to the newly formed Groundwater Advisory Committee which places him he is in a position to help obtain funds for connecting wells contaminated by PFOA to the public water system.
As a member of the Exotic Aquatic Weeds and Species Committee, he helped obtain funds for milfoil treatment that is so important to Merrimack in dealing with this problem in our lakes.

In an effort to improve the business climate and attract more jobs to Merrimack, he voted to reduce the business profits tax rate and the business enterprise tax rate. He also supported reducing the number of instances in which the real estate transfer tax would apply.
