College Job Fair Held April 1
More than 100 New England companies will be at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

With a statewide unemployment rate of 3.9 percent, business owners recognize in times of rising prosperity, it can be hard to find good help these days.
That’s partly why so many companies have signed up for the 2015 NHCUC College Job Fair, according to a press statement. The job market is bright in New Hampshire. Thanks to a shrinking unemployment rate, and a growing list of local businesses are looking to expand and hire, which leads to opportunity for today’s college graduates.
The 42nd annual job fair will be held at Manchester’s Radisson Hotel on Wednesday, April 1, from 2-5 pm.

“We are thrilled to see an unprecedented number of businesses signing up to participate in our annual job fair,” says Tom Horgan, President of New Hampshire College and University Council. “From manufacturing to high tech to tourism and the service industry, we have found many in the private sector seek well-trained and qualified young workers to fill a variety of positions.”
This year, more than 100 businesses will meet students and conduct job interviews. Students will also be invited to join internships, explore graduate school, and network with business owners from around the region.

“Given the increasing demand from businesses for highly skilled employees, students understand the need to be well-prepared and well-educated,” explains Horgan. “And businesses understand our job fair features some of the best and brightest of the Class of 2015, so more of them are signing up to participate.”
Students from 22 New Hampshire colleges and universities will participate in the job fair, which is one of the largest and oldest of its kind in New England. The job fair is free for college students and recent graduates of participating schools.
