Community Says Goodbye to Swan Chocolates

Yesterday marked the end of an era for independent business in Merrimack with the closure of Swan Chocolates.

According to a post on the company’s Facebook site, the owners, Michael and Theresa Anderson, called the move “not an easy decision” and added that there are times “when change is simply inevitable. It is bittersweet, indeed.”

The Andersons thanked their thousands of customers for helping them build the company for more than a decade when most people in Merrimack told them the business wouldn’t last a year.
