Concord Burglary Suspect Caught In Merrimack
Breaking: A "be-on-the-lookout" alert for a stolen work van leads to arrest, possible overdose in Merrimack. Police suspect other incidents.
MERRIMACK, NH — A BOLO – “be-on-the-lookout” – alert after an alleged burglary incident in Concord led to the capture of at least one suspect in Merrimack, according to police. Information is limited at post time but according to police and scanner chatter, officers were sent to Alton Woods in Concord for a report of a home that was burglarized at a little before noon on Aug. 11, 2017. A vehicle – a work van – was reportedly stole from the home, along will other possible items.

Fire and rescue teams were called to the scene for a possible overdose, according to scanner chatter, and the man was put into an ambulance and taken to the hospital.
According to Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photography, who took these photos, officers were taking small, wrapped parcels from the van. A Concord officer was also called to the scene to assist.

Police believe that the suspect and his girlfriend may allegedly be involved in other crimes – including burglaries – in Concord and around the southern part of the state, based on items that have reportedly been pawned.
