Concord Man Arrested On Drunk Driving Charges In Merrimack

Connor Angus was arrested by police after allegedly driving drunk on the Daniel Webster Highway on Saturday morning.

MERRIMACK, NH — An early morning traffic stop this weekend led to drunk driving charges against a Concord man, according to Merrimack Police. Connor Angus, 22, of Hall Street in Concord, was arrested on May 20, 2017, and charged with aggravated operating under the influence of liquor per se, operating under the influence of liquor, and open container. At around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning, an officer reportedly observed a motor vehicle “driving erratically on Daniel Webster Highway,” according to Sgt. Gregory Walters of the Merrimack Police Department.

“The police officer conducted a motor vehicle stop and identified the driver as the above Connor Angus,” Walters alleged. “After a brief investigation, the driver was arrested for OUIL.”

Angus was transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on June 1.
