COP LOG: Police Respond to 8 Accidents in 4 Hours

A look at Merrimack Police activity in January.

Following are excerpts from the activity log between Jan. 10 and 12.

Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012

8:05 a.m.: Burglary reported at a business on Wright Avenue.

9:15 a.m.: Caller reports a car in front of them threw a cup of ice out of the window and hit the complainant's car on Back River Road at Bedford Road.

12:54 p.m.: Police requested to assist with a disorderly student at the Brentwood School.

1:38 p.m.: Report of criminal mischief on Templeton Court – a car was scratched all over.

5:35 p.m.: Responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident at Amherst and Meetinghouse roads. Two drivers were taken to the hospital. Drivers were Ashley Flagg of Francestown and Claudette William of Merrimack.

7:12 p.m.: Report of someone throwing eggs at cars on Daniel Webster Highway at Herrick Street.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012

10:45 a.m.: Report of a theft of an iPod on McElwain Street.

11:23 a.m.: Report of a female running into traffic on Daniel Webster Highway.

3:51 p.m.: Report of a possible subject inside a home on Whitewood Lane.

4:13 p.m.: Report of gunshots in the area of Railroad Avenue.

5:13 p.m.: An arrest was made on Baboosic Lake Road and Lesa Drive on a warrant out of the Merrimack Police Department. No further information was provided.

7:43 p.m.: Responded to Route 101A for a two-car accident. Drivers were Allison Walker of Nashua and Joseph Trowbridge of Milford.

11:01 p.m.: Arrested Ashley Flagg, 27, of 9 Park St., for operating after suspension – a second offense, operating without proof of financial responsibility and a yellow line violation.

 

Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012

2:34 a.m.: Arrested Kristine Macdonald, 18, of 5 Whittier St., Manchester, for being a minor in possession of alcohol and transporting alcohol. She was arrested following a single-car crash on McQuestion Road.

7:13 a.m.: Responded to Hillside Terrace for a single-car accident with a fixed object. Driver was Sean Quinnell of Merrimack.

7:33 a.m.: Responded to Hillside Terrace for a single-car accident with a fixed object. Driver was Victoria Lapiana of Merrimack.

8:09 a.m.: Responded to Erik Street at Dena Avenue for a single-car accident with a fixed object. Driver was Zachary Staffiere of Merrimack.

8:12 a.m.: Responded to Route 101A for a two-car motor vehicle accident. Drivers were Denis Cote of Merrimack and Jason Dessureault of Amherst.

8:25 a.m.: Responded to Bean Road and Klara drive for a single-car accident with a fixed object. Driver was Jonathan Carillo of Merrimack.

8:55 a.m.: Responded to Bean Road for a single-car accident with a fixed object. Driver was Sara Dimartino of Merrimack.

10:21 a.m.: Responded to a single-car accident with a fixed object on Amherst Road. Driver was Danielle Duval Grooms of Merrimack.

11:42 a.m.: Responded to Baboosic Lake Road for a two-car motor vehicle accident. Drivers were Paul Koehler III of Amherst and Paul Statz of Merrimack.

1:48 p.m.: Responded to a single-car accident with a fixed object on Back River Road. Driver was Emanuele Diapaola of Merrimack.

3 p.m.: Responded to Railroad Avenue to assist a stuck school bus.

7:16 p.m.: Arrested Ian MacPherson, 28, of 285 Gray St. Manchester, on four counts of simple assault.
