COP LOG: Trio of Bears Spotted on Route 101A.

A look at some of the activity from the police department at the end of September. All arrest information is provided by the Merrimack Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Here's a look at some excerpts from the Merrimack Police Department's log on Thursday Sept. 15 and Tuesday Sept. 20-21.

Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011

12:33 a.m.: Arrested Christopher Nadeau, 30, of 20 Tanglewood Way for domestic-related simple assault.

10:05 a.m.: A Cobblestone Place resident reports gunshots in the area.

1:16 p.m.: Report of criminal mischief on East Chamberlain Road. A foot bridge there was reportedly targeted.

7:54 p.m.: A loose dog that is said to be a constant problem was reported on Island Drive.

 

Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011

8:01 a.m.: A two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Baboosic Lake Road. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Holly Esty and Jacquelyn Daly, both of Merrimack.

9:23 a.m.: Arrested Brian Fredette, 29, of 22 Thornton Road West on a warrant for unspecified charges.

10:09 a.m.: Arrested Amy Fredette, 29, of 22 Thornton Road West on an electronic bench warrant for and unregistered motor vehicle.

12:50 p.m.: Responded with the Merrimack Fire Department to Baboosic Lake Road for a reported structure fire.

2:11 p.m.: Took a report of fraud in the form of bad checks.

5 p.m.: Arrested William Doffy, 21, of 4 Stonedge Way, for an unregistered motor vehicle, possession of drugs and transportation of drugs.

5:07 p.m.: Responded to Route 101A for a two-car motor vehicle accident. Two people were taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. Drivers were Juan Aguirre of Hooksett and Cheryl Wolczok of Merrimack.

5:29 p.m.: Responded to a hit and run accident on Daniel Webster Highway. No injury was reported. The unknown driver hit a parked car.

5:59 p.m.: Responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident. No injury was reported. Drivers were Elizabeth Persch of Merrimack and Max Meinhardt of Brookline.

6:26 p.m.: Responded to Tinker Road for a complaint from a resident that a neighbor cut down one of their trees.

6:48 p.m: Report of a theft from a motor vehicle on Continental Boulevard.

8:46 p.m.: Booked 29, of 606 Alton Woods Drive, Concord, on charges of burglary and theft by unauthorized taking.

10:42 p.m.: Discovered damage to police equipment on Baboosic Lake Road.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011

6:25 a.m.: Responded to Woodward Road at Hitching Post Lane for a deer struck by a motor vehicle.

8:17 a.m.: Responded to a minot motor vehicle accident on Industrial Drive at Spartan Way. No further information was given.

9:10 a.m.: Report of credit card fraud on Sentry Way.

10:47 a.m.: Report of theft of cable at a Daniel Webster Highway business.

11:52 a.m.: Responded to Turkey Hill Road with the fire department for a dryer fire.

1:13 p.m.: Report of criminal mischief on Old Kings Road.

2:42 p.m.: Theft of jewelry was reported on Grapevine Road.

3:06 p.m.: Three bears were spotted near a pond on Route 101A.

4:46 p.m.: Responded to Daniel Webster Highway for a minor motor vehicle accident. Driver was Julia Roberson of Milford who hit a parked car.

5:47 p.m.: A Sherwood Lane resident reported problems with their neighbor's vicious dog.

6:59 p.m.: Arrested Jon Hardy, 50, of 19 Hillcrest Drive on a charge of domestic-related simple assault.

10:17 p.m.: A hit and run with a fixed object was reported on Route 101A.
