Cops: Elderly Man Busted for OUI Again

Paul Labrecque of Nashua was arrested by Merrimack Police last week on Spartan Way.

A local man is due in court next month to face a second operating under the influence charge.

Paul Labrecque, 73, of Nashua, was arrested on Aug. 14, 2015, and charged with operating under the influence, liquor, second offense.

According to police, officers were sent to Spartan Way for a report of an erratic vehicle in the area. When they arrived, they reportedly found the vehicle on a walkway and made contact with the driver, Labrecque.

“As officers were speaking with Labrecque they noticed signs of impairment,” according to Sgt. Eric Marquis. “A roadside investigation, which included field sobriety tests, was conducted and as a result of the investigation Labrecque was placed under arrest for OUIL.”

Labrecque was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Sept. 10, according to police.
