Cops, EMTs Sent to Two Water Distress Calls
A boy was pulled out of a pool this tonight on Baboosic Lake Road and a woman was assisted on Island Drive.
MERRIMACK, NH - Merrimack Police and Fire and Rescue teams were sent to Baboosic Lake Road on July 2, 2016, for a report of problem with a boy that was pulled from the pool unconscious but breathing.
A medflight was put on standby before they arrived at the scene, according to Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photographer, who took these pictures.
Upon arrival, the child who had been pulled from the pool was breathing and an EMT quickly whisked the boy to the waiting ambulance. He appeared to be stable. The woman, who was with the child, was comforted by firefighters and put in the front seat of the ambulance as they headed to the hospital.

Just 15 minutes before, firefighters responded to Island Drive in the area of basketball court for a swimmer in distress. A female was struggling in the water and firefighters was called to assist. Upon arrival, the woman was making her way back to the shore.
