At just before 9 p.m. on July 7, police were tipped off by a Domino’s Pizza employee that someone might be trying to steal storm drain gates that had been removed during the pavement process on the DW Highway. Town employees had removed the grates and put them on the side of the road so it could be milled.
“Responding officers were advised that a male subject was seen by one of their delivery drivers, putting storm drain grates into a white Ford van,” according to Lt.
