Cops: Woman Charged with Heroin Possession
Merrimack Police arrest Lauren Peters 14 months after an incident at a local business.

A local woman was arrested on a drug charge after an investigation into an incident from 2014.
Lauren Peters, 44, of Hevey Street in Manchester, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2015, on a possession of a narcotic drug-heroin charge.

Peters was arrested after an investigation into an incident at a local business on Aug. 16, 2014, after police were called to the location for a report suspicious activity.
“Officers made contact with Peters and after an investigation her vehicle was impounded and a search warrant was later obtained,” Lt. Dean KillKelley of the Merrimack Police Department. “The vehicle was later searched (and) in the vehicle officers found the narcotic drug, heroin.”

According to police, Peters was arrested on a warrant by Manchester Police and transported to Merrimack. She was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Dec. 17.
