Crash Leads to Drunk Driving Charges
Merrimack Police arrest Alexis Dube on Back River Road Sunday afternoon.

MERRIMACK, NH – A local woman is facing two drunk driving charges after a crash on Back River Road over the weekend, according to police.
Alexis Dube, 30, of Constance Street in Merrimack, was arrested on June 26, 2016, and charged with operating under the influence-liquor and aggravated operating under the influence per se.

Police were sent to Back River Road at around 3:15 p.m. for a report of a single vehicle accident without injuries, according to Sgt. Gregory Walters of the Merrimack Police Department.

“Upon arriving in the area police observed a motor vehicle that had driven off the paved portion of the roadway and struck a tree,” according to Walters. “While speaking with Dube, she showed signs of alcohol impairment. Upon further investigation, police determined that Dube was driving while intoxicated and she was placed under arrest.”
She was processed and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on July 7.
