Crash on Sarah Drive Leads to DWI Charges
Merrimack Police arrested Russell Bovill yesterday after an accident.

A local man will be in court later this month after reportedly crashing his pickup truck and being arrested for drunk driving.
Russell Bovill, 22, of Hillcrest Drive in Merrimack, was arrested on Aug. 31, 2015, and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, per se.

Police along with fire and rescue teams, according to a report, were sent to Sarah Drive at around 5 p.m. for a report of an accident with unknown injury.
When they arrived, the found the driver, Bovill, and alleged that he smelled like alcohol and showed signs of impairment. After an investigation, including field sobriety tests, he was arrested.

Bovill was processed and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Sept. 22.
